Liminal Design worked with the Poor Clares of Lilongwe to design a new building dedicated to the making of the Eucharistic host.
The architecture was conceived as quiet and contemplative, drawing inspiration from the Eucharist and monastic life. Brick continues the material language of the monastery, while a simple white horizontal band subtly references the headband of the sisters’ habits — an expression of humility, faith and continuity.
